The BIESSE AKRON 1440-A is a fully automatic single-sided edge banding machine designed for precise gluing and finishing of flat panel edges using roll materials (melamine, PVC, ABS, veneer) and strip materials (solid wood, laminate, knife veneer, etc.).

VC-511 Gluing Unit
Applies hot-melt adhesive, feeds the edge band, automatically cuts it from the roll and presses it onto the panel with perfect positioning.

IN-801 End Cutting Unit
Cuts front and rear edge overhangs with 0° to 15° inclination.

AR02 E – Twin-Motor Multifunctional Profiling Unit
For corner rounding and profiling of synthetic edges up to 3 mm thickness.

RT02 Jointing Unit
Prepares the workpiece edge before gluing.
Equipped with two 1.8 kW high-frequency motors at 12,000 rpm.

RB02 Scraping Unit
For finishing thick PVC/ABS edge bands.

RC02 Flat Scraper Unit
Removes excess glue at the panel-edge junction using pressure rollers and a flat blade with controlled engagement.

SZ02 Buffing Unit
Cleans and polishes the edge with cloth buffing wheels.
Automatically adapts to workpiece thickness.

ADZ02 Anti-Adhesive Spray System
Precise application of release agent via NC-controlled injectors.
